Designed by cyclists for cyclists. With a rich frame building heritage and over 25 years of experience crafting titanium frames, Reilly’s best-selling gravel and road bikes deliver beauty, comfort and speed.
Neil FitzGerald and Mark Reilly started working together back in the early 90s in SE London under the brand Omega. Mark already had a name for himself as a maverick, designing ground-breaking frames, but it was Neil with his background as a foundry pattern maker and industrial prototype model maker, who brought these designs to life.
“I would set the frame jig up from the sizes Mark had taken from a customer’s fitting and proceed to hand cut and file the bike mitre before drilling for bosses and gas vents. If it was a lugged frame we were making, I’d clean up the lug and file them to a point. I’d tack the frames in place on the jig before handling them over to Mark to braze in the vice, while I started on another.... My specialty was sculpting the fillet brazed joints to create a flowing transition between the tubes.”
Back then it was beautifully crafted, fillet brazed steel frames and smooth tig welded aluminium frames for racing, but it wasn’t long before Mark fell in love with the ‘magical’ properties of titanium.
When Omega relocated to Brighton, Neil stayed local and continued my model making path before entering the world of F1 motorsports as a patternmaker and subsequent model maker for the wind tunnel aerodynamics department at Williams McLaren and Mercedes.
The carbon fibre knowledge he gained from F1 lead him back to bikes and he rejoined Mark. First as Enigma, then Nerve in 2014 which morphed into Reilly Cycleworks. By which time, Neil and Mark were dedicated to creating beautiful, handcrafted titanium frames based on Mark’s renowned frame geometries. This love of titanium is still the backbone of Reilly today.
the Reilly range
reilly gradient Gravel BIKE
The REILLY GRADIENT is an unprecedented engineering achievement.
It combines a hydro-formed 3AL-2.5V titanium tube set, reminiscent of our favourite steel tubing Columbus Spirit HSS, with the adventure frame geometry which Mark Reilly perfected over a 30-year frame building career. Mark's design work on the Gradient was so progressive that its launch pre-dated the whole gravel phenomenon.
The Gradient is the embodiment of titanium’s classic ‘flex and flow’, guaranteeing all-day comfort. Whether you’re riding road, gravel, audax, cycle cross, touring or commuting, this is the perfect ‘do-it-all’ bike!
reilly reflex Gravel BIKE
The Reflex takes fast gravel riding to a new level. Combining the sleek investment cast aero shaping of the Fusion with the progressive geometry of the Gradient, the Reflex is the ultimate titanium gravel race bike. The Reflex is fully integrated, with internal frame routing for brake hoses, Di2 cables, dynamo cabling for front and rear lights and a hydraulic dropper seat post via the T47 bottom bracket shell. This integration not only enhances the Reflex’s clean lines, but protects hoses and cables, and offers a clutter-free cockpit and maximum hanging space for bikepacking kit.
With ultra-wide tyre clearance up to 700c x 55mm(29” x 2.2”), the Reflex combines the characteristic flex and flow of a Reilly titanium gravel bike with the agility of a race thoroughbred, making it the perfect beast for hitting the tech trails or clocking up ultra distance miles. The Reflex’s 6AL- 4V Ti headtube is compatible with FSA ACR and Deda DCR bar / stem options and may be fitted with short-travel gravel suspension forks for hardcore off-road use.
“With the Reflex,” says Reilly co-founder Neil FitzGerald, “we wanted to meld the responsive handling and comfort of the Gradient with the speed and agility of the Fusion to create a fresh-looking titanium gravel race winner. We’re thrilled with the result.” With its chunky tyres, striking investment castlines and integrated simplicity, bundled with Reilly's lifetime warranty on the frameset, the Reflex is a guaranteed head-turner and a solid investment in your gravel riding future.
reilly fusion road bike
The REILLY FUSION represents an evolution of Reilly’s road series, combing classic Reilly race geometry, top grade hydroformed titanium tubes, and advanced engineering to create a light, aerodynamic titanium frame to rival carbon equivalents. In a nod to tradition, Reilly’s innovative use of investment casting makes the FUSION a distinctive ti offering in a market of ubiquitous carbon frames.
The nature of investment casting allowed Reilly to mimic the aero shapes usually associated with a carbon mould or 3D printing. The seamless welding of the investment cast parts to 3AL-2.5V tubing highlights the hand-crafted detail associated with all Reilly frames. Fully integrated cable routing gives the bike a sleek and minimal cockpit, while the stunning ‘kamm tail’ tube profile brings additional aero benefit.
Neil FitzGerald, Reilly Co-founder, says of the launch: “Reilly’s Fusion is spearheading the titanium road revolution. It symbolises an exciting time for us, marking a new chapter as we build on our framebuilding heritage, while continuing to innovate to offer all customers their dream ride. We have raised the bar again for road adventurers to create a truly cutting edge bicycle frame to enjoy the great outdoors, whether that’s planning an ultra endurance road trip or sleekly navigating the daily commute.”
